SKE Electrical partnered with Lumen Resources to implement the DALI lighting control system at the new flagship Maitland Administration Centre and Town Hall. This three-storey facility seamlessly combines the heritage-listed 1890s Town Hall with a modern administrative workspace, creating an environment that supports both collaboration and the growing needs of Maitland City Council. The building accommodates 280 workstations and a variety of meeting rooms.
The zencontrol DALI system provides precise control across multiple zones, allowing tailored lighting for offices, communal areas, and meeting spaces. The setup also includes zencontrol wireless components to link the lighting between the buildings without the need for additional wiring, and preserving the architectural integrity of the heritage structure.
The lighting system plays a crucial role in achieving the building’s 4-star NABERS rating, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and operational excellence, ensuring that the Maitland Administration Centre remains a future-proofed hub for community growth.
